At all levels of government, elected officials make daily decisions that impact workers and their families. Working people deserve a voice on issues like providing living wages and protecting the right to organize — and nobody knows these issues better than union members like you. Have you considered running for office?
Learn more at the MBTU Futures meeting on Wednesday, April 26, from 4-6 pm at Painters DC 35 (25 Colgate Road, Roslindale, MA 02131). In addition to updates and information on the state building trades’ priorities, a representative from the Massachusetts AFL-CIO will provide details about the Union Member Candidate School (below) for anyone interested.
The Massachusetts AFL-CIO is hosting Union Member Candidate School on Saturday, April 29, from 10 am-2 pm at Plumbers Local 12 (1240 Mass. Ave., Dorchester, MA 02125).
