Local 17 Apple Picking Family Outing Brings Members Together
On a sunny Saturday morning in September, SMW Local 17 members and their families gathered for our very first Apple Picking Family Outing. The orchard provided a perfect backdrop for a day filled with laughter, fresh air, and plenty of apples.
From kids running between trees to members catching up over cider and donuts, the outing was a true celebration of family and solidarity. Events like these remind us that Local 17 is more than a union—it’s a community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day such a success.
