Sheet Metal Workers Local 17 is proud to share that the annual NERC-SMART Local 17 Lottery Scholarship and Mass AFL-CIO Labor History Exam applications are now available.
As college expenses keep increasing, we understand the stress that families go through. We urge all our members to make the most of these opportunities. Every year, multiple scholarships are granted, so please ensure that you don’t miss the application deadlines!
The application deadline for the Labor History Exam is December 22, 2023.
The NERC-SMART Local 17 Lottery Scholarship application deadline is March 31, 2024.
2024 Local 17 Scholarship Application
These opportunities are open to children, grandchildren, and spouses of active or retired NERC-SMART Local 17 members in good standing. Additional information about eligibility requirements can be found on the application.
